Party Monster Travellers! Here Is Your Next Trip!

If your hands are in the air clapping to the beat instead of holding a camera… If you put on your dancing shoes rather than trekking shoes… If your alarm goes off in the middle of the night whilst everyone else is asleep…  You are one of those party monsters. Travellers following the DJs instead of their hearts! We’ve prepared this article for you!

“Life may not be the party we hoped for… but while we’re here we may as well dance.” says Jeanne C. Stein. Travellers know they should listen when someone talks about a party. We have listened and presented our own rituals against the rituals of life:

  • Eat
  • Travel
  • Dance
  • Repeat!

But where? Here is the list. Open your favourite song and get inspired by our post. We and the DJs will be waiting for you here.

1- De School, Amsterdam

Such an incredible experience at de school! We did not expect to eat dinner there but we did and it was a LAVISH experience and very expensive but we decided to splurge. Food was amazing and the vibes were even better. The club right next to the restaurant is something out of this world. Pitch black with the sounds of deep techno playing. Incredible experience ??

De School doesn’t have a long history. The club was opened on the west side of Amsterdam just 2 years ago. In fact, it is more than a club because it has a concert hall, a restaurant, a café, an exhibition hall and even a gym. It was built as a vocational high school. Now it welcomes everyone willing to have fun for seven days a week. Having a capacity of 700 people, this massive venue allows you to dance freely. The club is so dark that it takes some time before your eyes get used to it. Then you could see an exhibition around you. De School is known as a breath of fresh air when it comes to clubbing experience. Don’t forget to add it to your to-do list for your trip to Amsterdam.

2- Smartbar, Chicago

The best place to go out dancing. Friendly security. Gender neutral washrooms. Zero tolerance for harassment, homophobia, transphobia and the best sound and music.

Smartbar has been calling people on to the dance floor since 1982. It is one of the irreplaceable nightclubs of Chicago. It features a wide range of genres including House, Disco, Dubstep and Techno. In addition to the performances of international DJs on the dance floor, it regularly hosts Chicago’s most popular DJs, including Frankie Knuckles, The Black Madonna and Derrick Carter. The club has the capacity of 400 people is one of the most popular venues in Chicago. In case you forget your phone at home, there is a photo booth to help you keep your memories forever, unlike other clubs. That takes the cake!

3- Amnesia, Ibiza

Went to Elrow here whilst on holiday, anyone who’s been to an ibiza club night will know how busy it gets but if you haven’t and you don’t like massive crowds then don’t go! The club nights they put on are amazing though nothing else like it if you enjoy a sweat fest and some seriously weird and wonderful displays.

Amnesia, which was opened in 1974, received the title of the world’s best global nightclub four times. The venue has a capacity of 5,000 people (that’s right! five thousand!) and is almost always full during parties. You better check the dates of the following festivals before you go to the club:

The famous foam party (La famousa fiesta de la espuma),

  • La Troya,
  • Cocoon,
  • Pop Star
  • The Matinee (La Matinee).

4- Fabric, London

The bass = unreal

The line ups = unmatched

The service = on point

The atmosphere = stunning

If you ever get a chance to visit Fabric, I highly advise you do so, one of the best nights out in London, you can’t find anything better, drinks aren’t overpriced and the subs in this club take my breath away. I’m not joking they actually do!

Founded in 1999, Fabric is a 2300-square-meter venue of frenzy having three stages. It is one of the venues offering a different clubbing experience in London with its unisex washrooms and vibrating bodysonic dance floor. The vibrating floor under your feet makes you feel each note of the music while dancing.

5- Berghain, Berlin

Address: Am Wriezener Bahnhof, 10243 Berlin, Germany

Fantastic club. Gotta have some luck getting in, but once your in, the atmosphere is great.

Good prices, music all night (and day). Fantastic speaker system!  They put tape on your phone’s camera for privacy.  Don’t listen to reviews about people not getting in, they didn’t experience it.  If you don’t get in, try again later.

Berghain is one of the hardest clubs in the world to get into. That is why long queues can be seen in the alternative neighbourhoods of Berlin before each party. The only way to be one of the 1,500 lucky people in the club is being approved by the creepy looking bodyguard Sven Marquardt. Their entrance policy is a mystery for years. Forums and blogs on the internet have hundreds of suggestions and theories about it. What about our suggestion? If you can enter the club, just enjoy it! If you cannot, don’t be upset because the majority of those waiting in the queue will not be able to get in.

6- Green Valley, Camboriú, Brazil

Rodrigo Dalri

Safe place, excellent service and impeccable structure – plus great attractions. The high price of the entrance / consumption is justified by the quality and refinement of the place.

You are in an outdoor entertainment of 6,000 people in the Brazilian heat. Everyone’s hands are up in the air at the same time and the smile on their faces is undefinable. Green Valley was chosen as the best club by DJ Mag in 2013, but it has already been the best outdoor club for many people. The club has been bringing music lovers together since 2007. Moreover, it is the biggest club in Brazil in terms of square meters. We recommend you go there during the carnival week since the club celebrates this week nonstop.

7- Papaya, Island of Pag, Croatia

Address: Zrce Beach, 53290, Novalja, Croatia

Vijay Bagha

Nice place, Proper kicking and open, do not take your phones as there are pools in the club and you can get very messy, Nice club good drinks and chilling bouncers.

Are pool party lovers here? Papaya is one of the venues in DJ Mag’s top 20 club list (ranks 6th).

Pag Island, known for its population of 8,000 people during winter, 30,000 sheep and cheese production, is full of party monsters in summers. Pag is a relatively small island in Croatia and famous for its never-ending parties since the 1980s. In the summer months, at least two parties featuring the most famous DJs of the world every day ecstasise the party monsters day and night.

The intensity of the parties causes the cultural beauty of the island to be ignored, but the locals are not dissatisfied considering the economic dimension. We recommend you taste the famous cheese of the island between two parties.

8- Bassiani, Tbilisi

Address: 2, Akaki Tsereteli Ave, T’bilisi, Georgia

Grigol Khasia

A must go place in Tbilisi. Great sound systems, great light installations, great crowd. There are two stages here, smoking is not allowed in smaller one (not sure for main). Lineups are generally very good. One of the best techno clubs.

Regular events on Friday and Saturday nights.

This club is the new Berghain for some people.

Some political powers of the country want to shut down Bassiani, the symbol of not only techno music but also protests. We would like to introduce you the nightclub, which is growing and transforming into a new form.

Located in Tbilisi, capital of Georgia, Bassiani is an underground party club beneath a stadium built by the Soviets back in 1931. It is, in fact, a pool which is no longer used. However, if you expect a pool party, you are in the wrong place! Featuring DJs from all over the world who do not even know where Georgia is, Bassiani also has its own local DJs who are on the rise in the world market. If you are looking for a venue to party until dawn, where protest, good music and dance are blended, you are in the right place.

9- Closer, Kiev

Address: Nyzhnoiurkivska St, 31, Kyiv, Ukraine, 02000

O O

I do not know what you people expect from this place before coming… Look this place is the expression of Ukrainian type of neo partying after war and 2014 revolution. I live in Kiev and i have been rejected from this club too many times. This is not the type of partying that you do in your “beautiful(!)” Amsterdam, or Hamburg, or London or New York…This is not the kind of place where you listened Sensation White or this is not for type of people who thinks they are being so “cool” in Tomorrowland. If you see this club and Ukraine as an “easy” place then do not come here…These lands have their own rules , and this club has its own rules too…The DJ’s are great, music is great, shopping place is great, people are cool, atmosphere is cool, everyone is equal. Just go there and enjoy that night’s event.

Closer is not the kind of a club that you can recognise by the signboard on its door. However, it is a venue you are likely to drop by for dozens of different events it hosts.

It was transformed from an old factory into an art and entertainment complex, a complex the music concerts, parties, art exhibitions, gym, fashion shows, festivals and film sessions of which will make you wish you had a room of your own at. Almost everything a traveller can do in a city is gathered under a single roof. Even if it is not at the top of your travel list, we recommend you go to Ukraine just for the sake of Closer.
