15. Thimlich Ohinga
England has its Stonehenge and Kenya has ‘Thimlich Ohinga’. This is an ancient site, some 40-odd kilometers West of Migori that has complex stone structures that date back to about 500 years ago. Although this attraction has been around for centuries, very few people know of its existence. ‘Thimlich Ohinga’ translates to ‘frightening dense forest’ in Luo.
