Checked Baggage:
Jambojet does not have a free checked baggage allowance, but passengers can purchase up to 2 bags to be stored in the hold. Jambojet’s new baggage rates allow you to bring more luggage for less. Pre-paid baggage is priced as follows:
0 – 20kg: KSh 750
21 – 26kg: KSh 1,750
27 – 32kg: KSh 2,750
Passengers are encouraged to book pre-paid baggage in advance, as rates are usually doubled when paying at the airport.
Hand Luggage:
Hand luggage is restricted to 1 bag, not weighing more than 10 kg. Baggage dimensions may not exceed 55 x 35 x 25 cm.
Passengers can check in at Terminal 1D at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Check-in desks open 2 hours prior and close 40 minutes prior to departure. Please ensure you have your passport or ID card to present at check-in.
Jambojet online check-in is available from 30 hours to 1 hour before flight departure. Web check-in can be accessed via the airline’s website.
Travellers can choose between Standard seats, comprised of Window, Aisle and Middle seating; or Extra Legroom seats which allow you to really stretch out and maximise your comfort throughout your flight.
Should you wish to purchase any light snacks or refreshments on board, Jambojet offers a wide range of pastries, sandwiches, sweets, juices, hot beverages and alcoholic drinks. Payment must be made in cash.
