    • Hello Nelima, if you are serious about visiting Kenya, I can give you many contacts and information on how to get there, what to see and rough idea of prices. My facebook page is Barbara Namelok, and please do not post, use the message area! A vacation in Kenya is wonderful, but be warned the country gets a grip of you, and you just want to return again and again – like me you may even wish to go to live there!!!

  5. Mt Kenya is the best outdoor classroom. With the four seasons happening at the Equator. Interesting flora and fauna species. The mountain provide unparalled research and study experiences. I would recommend Mount Kenya as altimate destination.

  7. Its ironic having all this withing us and for us while domestic tourism is less felt in our nation compared to nations like Spain, china , Australia, Thailand etc. Its not only education that’s hold our promise for the next generation, but also interpersonal involvement in travel industry. Always remember leisure is a book and those who don’t travel read only the cover page. just scroll it guys..wont you?

  8. lake nakuru and Bogoria are off my list!!anticipating for mt.Kenya and The Hot Ballon in Masai Mara.Cant wait

  9. Awesome, i have never heard of Minto’s Tarn though; where is it?

  10. wow

  11. I lived for many years in Kenya, both near Mount Kenya and the Aberdares, and in Loita part of the Mara. Please note that if you wish to view cheetah, there are none in the Aberdares (though there are leopard, and if you are extremely lucky you may see the rare and beautiful antelope, Bongo). Mount Kenya itself no longer has lion (the last one was shot in the early 1990’s), though lion can be encountered on Solio Ranch outside Nyeri near Mweiga, and in Aberdare National Park itself.
Loita is on the escarpment above the Maasai Mara at about 7,000 feet above sea level. Cheetah can be seen on the plains of the Mara, along with wildebeest; zebra; many types of antelope; lion etc etc. Loita is outwith the National Park, but as there are no fences, animals abound, and a huge bonus is meeting with Loita Maasai, who welcome visitors and are always keen to show them their beautiful hills and rainforest. Don’t miss it!

  12. Where is Michaelson lake and Mintos Tarn in Kenya. I have never heard about it and I have travelled alot in Kenya as a local tourist. In which part of Kenya is it located. Am not sure this is in Kenya.
